ISW 1/350 USS Langley CV-1. Beautiful and faithful replica of the USN's first dedicated aircraft carrier. Carrier procedures and doctrine were developed onboard this ship. Converted from a collier, she served into WW2 and later served as a plane ferry till sunk by the Japanese. Huge full hull casting with tons of detail, massive photoetch frets, beautiful resin flight deck - not a gimmicky out of scale wood deck! With patience and skill, this kit builds into a museum quality model that kicks the Trumpy kit to the curb! You will spend almost this much to upgrade the Trumpy kit and it still won't be as good!
